Description: Jon Dore is one the fastest up and rising comedians in the nation.  He has his own TV show on the IFC channel called 'The Jon Dore Show' as well as a hit show now airing on ABC 'How to Live with your Parents'.  This is a show that you will not want to miss.  Below is Jon's self written bio.

Jon Dore is me. I is a relatively nice human. When I'm not out encouraging people to get along, I am at home drawing cartoons of the prophet Muhammad. Originally from Canada, I now live in Los Angeles. The days are warm, the nights are cool and there is a bar just down the street which has a happy hour. On some evenings I can watch my television show, "The Jon Dore Television Show" on IFC. I pretend that I'm not interested in watching it when friends are over, however it does bring me a genuine sense of joy and it makes me feel superior to others. Variety placed me on their "10 Comics to Watch" list. I'm a white, heterosexual male who enjoys making love to men while wearing a do-rag -- provided I am not menstruating. My favorite hobby is wasting people's time. For evidence of this please click this link.

Here is a well written bio...

Television audiences know Jon Dore as the star of his own award-winning mockumentary series, The Jon Dore Television Show, documenting his hilarious and outrageous debates on life's challenges and changes, from weight loss to gender. The series ran for a successful two seasons on IFC and The Comedy Network in Canada. Dore also served as co-creator, co-producer and writer on the series, proving he is just as comfortable behind the camera.

From his humble beginnings as the co-host of cable talk show Daytime Ottawa (Rogers Television) and the irreverent roving reporter on Canadian Idol (CTV), Dore went on to host HBO Canada's Funny as Hell. Entering its third season, the series showcases bold and uncensored comedy from the fastest rising comedians at the Just For Laughs Festival. He starred in the stand-up specials Comedy Central Presents...Jon Dore and Comedy Now! (CTV/The Comedy Network); appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, CC: Stand-Up: The Bonnaroo Experience and Mash Up; made guest-starring turns on How I Met Your Mother (CBS) and Scare Tactics (Syfy); and was the lead in the CBS pilot My Life As an Experiment. He is a regular on late night talk shows and has the honor of being the first stand-up to appear on Conan (TBS).

Dore's feature film credits include the indie drama Gus, opposite Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), and the comedy Stag, with Donald Faison (Scrubs) and Eva Amurri (Californication), which picked up two awards -- Best Ensemble and Excellence in Filmmaking -- at the LA Comedy Film Festival.

Renowned for his offbeat humor and unique bait-and-switch comedic style, Dore is a favorite on the comedy club and festival circuit. He has had sold-out runs at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and Toronto, at the Washington (DC), Portland, Vancouver and Halifax festivals, and more recently at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

Dore was named by Variety as one of "10 comics to watch" and is the recipient of four Canadian Comedy Awards. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
